Broadstairs

Broadstairs is a place to relax and chill out. The town has an easy going feel to it. But why not take time to treat yourself to a massage or hairdo. We can make appointments for you at our favourite beauty salon for a massage. Or why let make a reservation at our favourite hairdressing salon, where we ourselves have our hair looked after.

Broadstairs Beach House is ideally located for visiting neighbouring attractions such as the pretty village of Sandwich; the Royal Marina at Ramsgate; and the Turner Contemporary Gallery in Margate. The historic city of Canterbury is a half-hour drive away with its many attractions.

Travelling to Broadstairs by train is easy and comfortable. The High Speed 1 (HS1) train runs fast, regular services from London St Pancras. The journey time by train is 1 hour and 17 minutes. (We can collect you from the station and bring you to Broadstairs Beach House. It’s not far – just a 10-minute walk.)

By road, Broadstairs Beach House is easy to reach. Broadstairs is at the end of the M2/A299 – about 70 miles from the M25.  We are about a half hour’s drive to Dover and the continent. Or we are about 45 minutes drive to Ashford International and the Eurostar train.

Speaking of trains, among the many attractions in Broadstairs and the surrounding area of Thanet is the Hornby Exhibition Centre, a heaven for model railway enthusiasts of every age.

Kent is Britain’s favourite family holiday destination – inparticluar Broadstairs and the Isle of Thanet – according to Lonely Planet’s Best in Europe 2015 report.
