Wednesday 28 March Acclaimed Californian-born folk artist Julie Felix is In Concert at the Sarah Thorne Theatre, Broadstairs

Saturday 31 March – Monday 2 April This Easter weekend the Broadstairs Food Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary featuring more than 100 stalls of Kent food and drink. Live demonstration in the Chefs Theatre as well as talks and demonstrations. Free entry to fair.

Friday 10 – Saturday 17 August  Broadstairs Folk Week An amazing seven days of impromptu music sessions, workshops and concerts, Broadstairs Folk Week takes place all over the town with thousands of people enjoying free concerts. Check out the full programme

Surfing There are two great surfing schools in Broadstairs. One is the Kent Surf School located at Viking Bay in the heart off the town and the other,  Jossbay Surf School,  is at the sandy Joss Bay, just outside the town centre.
